Equity and Leadership

This course examines the gendered and cultural nature of leadership. Attention is given to the socio-historical circumstances which have led to a construction of leadership on patriarchal premises. The course focuses on a deconstruction of the concept and practice of leadership and a reconstruction based on democratic and inclusive principles. Prerequisites or Corequisites: EDUC 5913
