Assessment for Learning

This course introduces students to the properties of standardized assessment. This course will outline different levels and qualifications for standardized testing, ethical considerations, and the uses of assessment to inform educational supports. This course will provide students with practical experience in the administration of Level A and B tests as well as the interpretation, analysis, and sharing of assessment results. Prerequisite: EDUC 5303

Location: Zoom synchronous plus Moodle asynchronous (July) plus a a full day 9-4 workshop in SSRCE (September, date tba)

July Dates: July 19-23 and July 26-27;

Zoom Classes: 9:00 – 11:30am;

Instructor Virtual Office Hours: 8:30-9:00am and 11:30am-Noon

The full day workshop in September (date TBA) in the SSRCE will be held from 9am to 4pm, and will be a hands-on, practical application of the information learned in July.
