Counselling Theories

This course is an introduction to the field of counselling. Philosophical foundations and historical bases of the counselling profession are considered from a critical perspective and current issues and future trends are taken up. A significant portion of the course is devoted to the study of the major theories of counselling, both historical and current.  Prerequisites:  Admission to the Master of Education in Counselling program
